Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane, can withstand demanding conditions, thanks to its toughness, abrasion resistance, and oil resistance, making it optimal for industrial purposes.

Advantages:

  • Flexibility and elasticity: TPU can be bent and stretched without cracking, making it ideal for durable rubber-like parts.

  • Abrasion resistance: It is highly resistant to abrasion and scuffing, which is important in moving or stressed parts.

  • Chemical resistance: Both ester and ether TPU are resistant to many chemicals, making it useful in industrial environments.

  • Ease of shaping: Can be manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes, including extrusion and injection molding

TS Plast conduct thermoplastic injection molding using both ether and ester grade TPU, ranging from 60 Shore A to 74 Shore D.
