What is a special tool in injection molding?
A special tool is a custom-made mold tool that is designed specifically for a particular plastic component, often with unique requirements for:

  • Geometry (complex shapes, thin walls, delicate details)
  • Material (specific plastic types or composite materials)
  • Tolerances (high precision)

Here are some examples of our custom-made solutions.

CUTTING TPU PLASTIC

A part made from TPU that we cut after production. We cut it twice, across at the middle and along the length. This was less expensive than modifying the mould.
